Education Built for the Long Run
Siam Neural was founded in Bangkok with one guiding idea: that learning AI well takes time, structure, and a person on the other end who can answer your questions.
Back to HomeHow Siam Neural Came to Be
Siam Neural started from a simple frustration. Naphat Srisuk, a software engineer working in Bangkok's fintech sector, spent years watching colleagues attempt to pick up machine learning from scattered online resources — tutorials without context, courses without feedback, progress without direction.
In 2021, he began running small study sessions at a co-working space in Sathorn, helping engineers work through Python and early data concepts in a structured way. The sessions filled quickly. Participants asked for more. The material grew. By 2022, what had started as informal weekend workshops had become a proper curriculum with mentors, exercises, and a clear pathway from beginner to deployment.
Today, Siam Neural operates fully online with a small team of instructors and a growing community of learners across Thailand. Every course is still designed the way those early workshops were — with deliberate pacing, real exercises, and a mentor you can actually reach.
What We're Here to Do
Our mission is to make AI development accessible to people in Thailand who are serious about learning it properly. Not as a shortcut or a box to tick — but as a technical skill worth investing time in.
We design courses that meet learners where they are, whether that's the very beginning or somewhere in the middle. Every part of the curriculum — the pacing, the exercises, the mentor check-ins — is chosen to support the kind of learning that actually sticks.
Direction. Clear pathways so learners always know where they are and where they're going.
Practice. Every concept met with a hands-on exercise before moving forward.
Support. A mentor available through every stage of a course.
Our Team
Naphat Srisuk
Founder & Lead Instructor
Software engineer turned educator with over a decade in data systems. Naphat designed the core curriculum and still leads the advanced course.
Piyanuch Wattanakul
Data Science Mentor
Specialises in data preparation and machine-learning workflows. Piyanuch leads Data Handling & Modelling and reviews all submitted projects at that level.
Thanat Nakarat
Foundations Instructor
A patient and thorough teacher who came to programming later in his own career. Thanat leads Coding Foundations and specialises in explaining concepts to people who are new to the field.
Quality Standards
The principles that shape every course we build and every interaction with learners.
Structured Curriculum Design
Every course follows a deliberate sequence reviewed by practitioners in the field. Topics are introduced only when prior knowledge supports them.
Qualified Instructors
All instructors hold relevant technical credentials and have professional experience in the areas they teach — not only academic familiarity.
Project-Based Assessment
Learners are assessed through actual projects, not multiple-choice tests. Feedback is written and specific, not automated.
Data Privacy
Learner data is handled with care. We collect only what's needed, store it securely, and never pass it to third parties for commercial purposes.
Regular Content Review
AI development moves quickly. Course materials are reviewed every six months and updated wherever the field has shifted or tools have changed.
Learner Feedback Loops
Every cohort ends with a structured survey. Responses directly inform the next version of each course — not filed away, actually used.
What Thoughtful AI Education Looks Like
At Siam Neural, we work from the view that technical education works best when it's built on a foundation of clarity. Learners don't struggle because the material is beyond them — they often struggle because the path through the material isn't clear. Our curriculum addresses that by mapping out each course week by week, with explicit prerequisites and explicit outcomes.
AI development as a discipline spans several distinct areas: writing code, working with data, understanding statistical approaches, and eventually deploying systems that behave reliably in the real world. Our three-course pathway covers each of these in turn, giving learners the time they need in each area before moving forward. That sequencing is deliberate, and it reflects years of watching what happens when people skip steps.
We place particular weight on the relationship between learner and mentor. Automated feedback has a role, but it can't replace someone reading your code, noticing a reasoning gap, and explaining it in plain language. Every course at Siam Neural includes regular mentor sessions precisely because that exchange is where a large part of the learning happens.
Our location in Bangkok means we understand the context our learners are working in — the industries they're employed in, the kinds of problems they want to solve, the pace at which they can realistically study. That local knowledge shapes how we write course material and how we support learners through the programme.
